Overview

Using a structured project management methodology produces 'paperwork', this is one of the necessary evils of getting your projects delivered on time and within budget. Successfully managing these 'management' products is essential for quick retrieval and usability. The Project Document Management is part of Configuration Management. Within this process the Lessons Learned Log and Issue Log are created.

The use of a searchable electronic database of management product files is encouraged. The number of these files in a large project can grow exponentially, just taking into account Baselined versions and version control.
