Overview

Planning a Stage builds on the stage outlines in the Project Plan. It goes into detail about how the project will be controlled on a day to day basis. The Project Manager uses the process PL Planning to create the Stage Plan which is then approved by the Project Board.

The preparation for the next stage is done before the previous stage ends. The Project Board will approve both the current stage end and the next Stage Plan together.

The Project Manager is responsible for this process, Project Assurance should check the plan to ensure it is continuing to meet Customer and User expectations.
