Overview
At a minimum Risks should be monitored at each stage end. During any stage risks may have remained unchanged, have occurred, decreased or increased. As a result of creating a new Stage Plan (SB1 Planning a Stage) or Exception Plan (SB6 Producing an Exception Plan) new risks may have arisen. In fact, updates in nearly every aspect of a Project Initiation Document (PID) or Stage Plan (Project Quality Plan, Business Case or Issue Log) may have raised or reduced risks.
The Project Manager is responsible for reviewing overall project risks and updating the Risk Log. Individuals who are 'owners' of risks are responsible for notifying the Project Manager about changes to each of their risk's likelihood.

Tips
If a Risk is considered imminent or important a contingency plan may be a good way to prevent it occurring.
Notes
- Analysed and updated when a Risk has increased, decreased, occurred or stayed the same.
- Each Risk should have an "owner".
