A Project Approach outlines how the projects' products are to be produced. It will be used when developing the Project Quality Plan and Project Plan in IP Initiating a Project. The Project Manager will carry out this role in conjunction with specialists.

Create the Project Approach by using the Risk Log and Terms of Reference to decide if the product is to be:
- Produced in-house
- Produced by 3rd party
- Developed in house
- An 'off the shelf' product.
